    • To match you with other members based on our matching algorithm (see "Automated Decision-Making and AI" below)
    • To facilitate connections, meetings, and communications between members

    Automated Decision-Making and AI

Coppla uses an automated matching algorithm to suggest connections between members. This algorithm considers factors including but not limited:

    • What you offer compared to what other members are looking for
    • Industry overlap between members
    • Shared networking goals
    • Geographic proximity and service areas
    • Member type and business affiliations
    • Activity and engagement patterns

The matching algorithm evolves over time as we improve the Services. The algorithm produces suggestions only. It does not make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you. You are free to accept, decline, or ignore any suggested connection.

We also use automated calculations to determine eligibility for badges such as the Recommended badge. This calculation runs nightly and is based on member endorsements and complaint history.

If you have questions about how our automated systems use your information, you can contact us at info@copplaconnect.com.
